[quote="jehanzeb.musani"]Hello All,

I am new to PETALs and finding it difficult to find good resources regarding developing components for PETALs. I want to write a test component as a proof of concept. Can you please guide me or direct me the links from where I can find information for the following?

Since it is an Eclipse plugin, you have nothing to configure... Just install it from the update site : http://dist.ebmwebsourcing.com/eclipse/petals/ (http://dist.ebmwebsourcing.com/eclipse/petals/)

For now there is no such documentation. What I suggest you is to look at the components sample source code from the PEtALS SVN. Additionally, I am writing some stuff on my blog. I have started a "create your JBI component" series, you can find it here http://blog.ebmwebsourcing.com/home/chamerling/ (http://blog.ebmwebsourcing.com/home/chamerling/) .

The best way to do that is to start with the PEtALS Quickstart distribution. There is also a documentation for this distribution which will help you to start with PEtALS : http://petals.ow2.org/download-quickstart.html (http://petals.ow2.org/download-quickstart.html)
