>From what I remember, the XQuare plug-in was only tested with MySQL databases.
The support for other databases can't be guaranteed. 

If it doesn't work, you can add a feature request in the plug-ins forge @ https://forge.ebmwebsourcing.com/projects/petals-eclipse/
I will then see what I can do.
