1/ Yes, from your application, outside PEtALS, you can invoke ws using Axis2 stubs.

2/ That's why I think that SE EIP is not the right choice. I prefer to use SE POJO to invoke JBI services, or a service engine supporting BPEL.

3/ Other ws (ie webservices running on your resources) are exposed inside PEtALS
