Hi Mathieu,
About new documentation, are you sure to be able to tag all wiki pages with the a tag. A revision system is not sufficient. I haven't seen it in the documentation of Confluence how to release pages.
Maintaining several branches can be a solution with following restrictions to be effective:
- we should be able to create and apply a patch from a branch to another one,
- we should be able to create easily (by one action) a new branch from the last one.
- use a branch for each medium version (2.1.x, 3.0.x, 3.1.x)
Ok for older documention.

> We prefered to make it simpler, for now, with just one wiki to maintain.
