Hi,

I think this example is out of date.
Instead, I suggest you to install your own JMS server (as Active MQueue), install the JMS drivers for Petals (e.g. the shared library for Active MQueue (http://download.forge.objectweb.org/petals/petals-sl-activemq-5.3.0.zip)). 
Then, you can expose your queue as a service in Petals by following this tutorial (http://doc.petalslink.com/display/petalsstudio11/Exposing+a+JMS+Queue+or+Topic+as+a+Petals+Service).
