Hello,

Here are 2 scenarios...

Scenario 1

You have two Petals nodes.
Node 1 has the File Transfer BC deployed on while Node 2 has another
instance of the File Transfer.
The 1st file transfer has one SU configuerd in consume mode. It will read
files in a directory and send them as attachments to a service located on
the second node. Once a file is read, it will be moved in another directory.

The target service is implemented by a SU for the File Transfer, configured
in PROVIDE mode. When it receives a message, it writes it down on the disk.
If it has attachments, it writes the attached files on the disk.

Interest: if the nodes are on separated machines, separated file systems...
The file transfer is delegated to the bus.

Scenario 2

You have two Petals nodes.
Node 1 has the File Transfer BC deployed on while Node 2 has the FTP BC
deployed on.
The 1st file transfer has one SU configuerd in consume mode. It will read
files in a directory and send them as attachments to a service located on
the second node. Once a file is read, it will be moved in another directory.

The target service is implemented by a SU for the FTP BC, configured in
PROVIDE mode. When it receives a message, it connects to a FTP and writes
the message as an uploaded file. If it has attachments, it uploads the
attached files on the server.

Interest: if you imperatively require a FTP upload.
