[Users] send a message to a BC component?

I´m using bc-mail to send email from a xml message but i don´t know which
methode to use to send message (like in sample client). I search in code
from SE-Sample Client and saw a send methode like this:
send(String itf, String service, String op, String endpoint,
			String content, String type, List<File> attachmentFiles,
			String properties, long syncTime)
Is that default code to send a message to a component in petals. And is
there any different between sending a message to a BC and to a SE?
Can anyone give me a default send methode to send message in petals?
