And if you want the FTP component to upload files from a directory, then you should build an upload process.
Here is an example:

+ Use the FileTransfer BC to poll a directory.
+ Once a file is found, it is loaded and sent by this BC to a FTP service.
+ The FTP service uploads the file on the server.

Notice that the FileTransfer BC will move the transferred file in another directory, to avoid another processing of this file.
